Permalink thoracicfark: If you aren’t acquainted with Mark Rife’s 1000 Days Project, you should be. After his wife dies suddenly, Mark honors a moment they shared watching Romeo and Juliet by deciding to take 1000 days after her death to travel, learn, grow, make memories, and heal. The project ended when, after the 1000 days had passed, Mark was even more sure than before that the grief for him would never end. He committed suicide, leaving his last video project and a tumblr history of his 1000 days, which was deleted following his passing. Not for everyone does time heal all wounds.
